Located in the heart of wine country is a trail of distilleries called Paso Robles Distillery Trail, creating delicious renditions of vodka, brandy, gin, whisky, and infused drink mixes for your favorite cocktail. The trail begins in Paso Robles and travels down the 101 freeway to Arroyo Grande, encompassing thirteen unique distilleries. To learn more, click on the link below:

I spent a few days on the trail last week with clients from New York and Santa Maria, tasting distilled spirits at several establishments. We visited three of the thirteen locations:

As my clients tasted vodka, gin, and special mixes, they learned the art and science behind artisan craft cocktails and spirits made from fruits, grains, and botanicals. This was a weekend filled with fun and laughs, and it was the first time I wanted to taste some of the drinks while on the clock but had to refrain as the designated driver. I look forward to visiting as a sipper in the future. And, as stated in the podcast, I have already earned free swag by visiting more than six locations.
