Mouth-Watering Signature Cocktails

It is a beautiful ‘thing’ when you are in the right place at the right time. That happened to me as I was able to participate in a signature cocktail tasting by an executive chef and mixologist for a party happening the following weekend. Tina Rossenrode has a lifetime of experience cooking and creating food and beverages for her clients and customers. Tina worked for Darden as a corporate trainer, also known as Olive Garden Restaurants. She also bartended and was trained by Flo, a waitress with the tallest beehive ever for the Palm Springs Elks Lodge in the 1990s. Tina specializes in culinary traditions with Pakistani, Indian, and Mexican Infusion menus.

The cocktails prepared for the personal tasting were a vodka smash, lavender mojito, lavender lemon drop, bourbon blackberry smash, Washington bourbon, mint julep, and whisky sour. Although each drink would have been a great choice, the Lavender Mojito and Bourbon Blackberry Smash were the top two because they paired perfectly with the dinner menu. For the party, Michelle served made-to-order street tacos fresh off the grill with elote salad, chips and salsa, and the staples of Mexican cuisine. My favorite drink was the Vodka smash, which was light and refreshing.

WINETINI A Wine Cocktail Guide

  • Preface This book evolved over ten years as the concept of a WINETINI grew with each creation. During the last few years of operating my tasting room for William James Cellars, we held special events on Friday nights. We dubbed our evening 'Food Truck Friday' and developed a signature drink called a WINETINI. Each weekend we chose a different food truck style to change the drink special and music for the night. The night’s theme was based on the food truck's food type, albeit Mexican, Cuban, Filipino, Pizza, Grilled Sandwiches, BBQ, and so on. I made the WINETINI’S along with employees and significant guests of honor. A few years later, I began creating WINETINI videos for SommCon’s online streaming network, SommGo. Since then, I have created my online streaming platform, eatdrinkandbemerry.vhx.tv, to view the following videos: WINETINI A Wine Cocktail WINETINI Hot Summer Nights WINETINI Fall Blends WINETINI Holiday Classics My recipe collection has grown so large that I felt it was time to share my creations to start a WINETINI revolution!!
